XHTML Doctype (Document Type Definition) Reference:

There are three Document types used in XHTML are:

Strict: Example of Strict Document type Definition:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd”>

transitional : Example of Transitional Document type Definition:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>

Frameset : Example of Frameset Document type Definition:
